Product Options
Choose a one-time use stencil if you want to paint your design onto your project surface (you can use a variety of decorative mediums such as chalk marker, gel stains, or glass etching cream with these stencils as well).
Choose a decal if you are decorating glass or a mirror or if you simply want something less permanent. Decals will work on sanded wood as long as the paint or stain is fully cured.
Step-by-step application instructions are included with every order, along with tips for specific stencil projects.
Size
All designs are approximately 1 inch smaller than the selected size. If you need a specific size, order the closest size up and then use the ADDITIONAL NOTES section to specify the exact DESIGN size needed. If you are unsure of what size to order, please contact us with the details of your project and we will gladly help you out.

Processing Time
We strive to get your design out as quickly as possible. A member of our team will contact you via the email provided on your order within 24-48 hours with a proof of your design based on the personalization details you provide. Total processing time is generally 3 business days.
Shipping
$3.95 Standard Shipping through USPS–FREE with a $25+ order. Upgraded shipping options are available, however, choosing them does not expedite processing times. If you need something quickly, please contact us to check our current processing times.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be sent by 10 pm (PST) on the day the order is placed. Once an order is in the personalization process, it will no longer be eligible for cancellation.
Returns/Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of DIY Design Company stencils, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. Please be sure to measure your project space carefully before ordering. If you have any questions or concerns about what size to order or how our vinyl products work, please send us a message prior to placing your order—we will be more than happy to help make sure you get exactly what you need!

The design is great and it shipped quickly. The problem I had was the stencil was so curled(maybe from shipping in a tube) it was difficult to get to lay flat. I ended up cutting it into sections and using spray adhesive and my sign looks good.

I ordered a stencil when I didn't feel my entry table felt "complete" and decided this was the perfect way to add simple yet classy "oompf" to get it where I wanted it to be. If you are looking for any type of custom stencil, this is the shop to go to! I had a total of four custom stencils made for my wedding and each one was better than the next! One of my packages wound up going missing and the seller even reached out to my local post office to determine the status. When creating some of the stencils, the seller was so patient when I would ask for slight changes and really made sure that I was happy with the final product. My father-in-law, who is a tough critic, said the stencils were by far the BEST ones hes every worked with. They are one-time use so they stick to the surface so well that the end result a seamless and perfect trace. I truly cannot say enough about this shop and the beautiful stencils they make! I've never done any stencil project before, but my wife and I wanted to make a growth ruler chart for our new grand baby. We had many questions about the process and materials to use. Autumn answered all of our questions very quick, like within 5 minutes each of the 4-5 emails we sent, they were answered. And not any answer was unfriendly or judgemental on my lack of stenciling. Enough of that. When the product arrived it was exactly as described on her web page that it would come. It came rolled up and needed to be unrolled. Yes it had wrinkles (exactly like the website says) and if you follow the very detailed instructions that are shipped with it, you'll be very satisfied. Bottom line is you get exactly what you pay for. She is selling a TOOL that is to be used to make your project. You've got to have tool skills.

This was absolutely amazing! I placed a custom order for a menu, program, and welcome sign for my wedding. Autumn was so helpful and patient while designing my stencils. The designs she came up with were adorable and exactly what I was looking for! She was very quick to respond throughout the whole process. She suggested I order decals for my chalkboard surfaces and I'm so glad I did! The decals are super easy to apply and look flawless! They are completely flat to the surface, so they look painted on. I ordered one stencil for a wooden surface. This was also pretty easy to apply, but the lines were not as sharp when I removed the stencil (probably my own user error). Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase! They are going to look amazing at my wedding!

The only issue I ran into (and I think it was because of the surface I adhered it to, NOT the stencil itself) is that some of the stencil backing left sticky residue on the rusted area of my surface. When I peeled off the stencil some of the dried paint on the stencil chipped off and got stuck in the residue. Some water, cotton swabs, and paper towels and patience fixed it right up! 😀

I placed a custom order for my sister’s bridal shower which was wine theme. I worked with the shop owner to custom design multiple stencils, reverse stencils, and decals for wine bottles which I then either frosted or left plain and placed around as decor. I had 16-17 bottles in total and the results were utterly SPECTACULAR. Autumn was just so phenomenal to work with and so creative, picking up on just what I had in mind when I do not know the technical terms for the crafting requirements, only for the vision I had in mind. She is very talented at creating these stencils (etc) so that you can create exactly what you have in kind for your own project. I got RAVE reviews on these, so much so that they were used at the rehearsal and wedding! I will definitely be coming back for future needs and recommending Autumn!!!!
